GM Vasif Durarbayli
Grandmaster Vasif Durarbayli is one of Azerbaijan's top chess players with over two decades of competitive experience. At age 14, he became the youngest player to represent Azerbaijan's Olympic chess team, a record that still stands. A two-time Azerbaijani Chess Champion (2021, 2023) and World Cup Top 16 finisher (2021), Vasif brings deep understanding of what chess players and fans need from a modern platform.
Berkay Can
Berkay is a full-stack software engineer who has been building mobile and web applications since 2018. He works across React, React Native, Flutter, and Next.js on the frontend, with GCP, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, Supabase, and Firebase powering the backend. He also integrates cutting-edge AI tools into production apps. At Chessever, Berkay architects and builds the entire platform, from the mobile apps on iOS and Android to the real-time backend that powers live tournament tracking.
