The tournament, now in its 17th year, is organized jointly by Scacchistica Partenopea and the Associazione Giochi di Natale. It boasts participants from all over the world. The first prize is dedicated to the memory of the late Grandmaster Igor Naumkin. Attention: the last round is played at 9:30 a.m. A non-federal rapid tournament and a tour of the island by motorboat are also planned as side events.
