I. Rapid chess tournaments: FIDE rapid chess rules apply. System: Swiss system in 9 rounds with game control 10 minutes + 5 seconds per move for each player until the end of the game. Starting rank: 1. FIDE rating (rapid) / 2. FIDE rating (standard) / 3. Alphabetical order Entry fee: The entry fee for OPEN A is 30 €. The entry fee for seniors over 60 y.o. and members of SCC "Shumen is 20 €. Grandmasters and officially invited players are exempt from the fee. The entry fee for OPEN B is 20 €. II. Blitz tournament: FIDE blitz chess rules apply. Participation in the blitz tournament is not tied to participation in the main rapid chess tournament. System: Swiss system in 9 rounds with time control 3 minutes + 2 seconds per move for each player until the end of the game. Starting rank order: 1. FIDE rating (blitz) / 2. FIDE rating (standard) / 3. Alphabetical order Entry fee: 15 €.
