Pranav Anand won the Brașov Grand Prix Classic 2026 — Group A on tiebreak after he and Igor Kovalenko finished level on 7.5/9.
Pranav Anand entered the last round in a four-way tie for first and won his final game. He completed the nine-round event unbeaten with six wins and three draws.
Kovalenko also won in Round 9 to reach 7.5 points. The published final table placed Pranav first and Kovalenko second, with three players half a point behind on 7/9.
