Daniil Dubov is set to play Josh Smith in a 100-game online bullet match on November 7. Every game will use a 1+0 time control.

The challenge was first made public after the Naroditsky Memorial: a $10,000 starting fee, plus another $10,000 if the grandmaster wins all 100 games. The project graphic says Dubov and Smith have signed for the match.

Any draw or loss removes the sweep bonus. Dubov enters the match as No. 4 on FIDE's July 2026 blitz list with a 2792 rating.
