Alireza Firouzja wins Chennai Grand Masters unbeaten with 4.5/7
The French grandmaster finished half a point clear after going unbeaten across the seven-round elite event.

Alireza Firouzja won the Quantbox Chennai Grand Masters 2026 with 4.5/7, finishing half a point clear after drawing Arjun Erigaisi in the final round.
Firouzja went unbeaten with two wins and five draws. He took the outright lead in Round 2 and remained at the top through the finish.
Dmitry Andreikin and Arjun shared second place on 4/7, half a point behind the champion.
