Hou Yifan beats Bibisara Assaubayeva 12–10 to reach WSCC final
A two-point semifinal victory completed the Women’s Speed Chess Championship final pairing.
Hou Yifan defeated Bibisara Assaubayeva 12–10 in the semifinal of the Women’s Speed Chess Championship 2026.
The victory sends Hou into the final against Alice Lee. Lee secured her place with a 19.5–4.5 semifinal win, reported earlier by ChessEver.
