Bharath Subramaniyam H won the Granada Chess Open 2026 on Buchholz after finishing level with Yuri Solodovnichenko on 7.5/9.
The two leaders drew their final-round game against each other. Bharath Subramaniyam H finished the nine-round event unbeaten with six wins and three draws; Yuri Solodovnichenko posted the same result breakdown.
The official final ranking separated them by one Buchholz point, 44.5 to 43.5.
