Nodar Lortkipanidze wins Alba Grand Prix Rapid with 9/10
Eight wins and two draws secured first place by half a point in the 10-round rapid open.
Nodar Lortkipanidze won the Alba Grand Prix Rapid 2026 with 9/10, finishing half a point ahead of Narayanan S L.
Lortkipanidze beat Narayanan in Round 9 to take the lead, then drew Vitaliy Bernadskiy in the final round.
The Georgian international master completed the tournament unbeaten with eight wins and two draws. Narayanan placed second on 8.5/10.
