Five wins and four draws secured first place by half a point in the nine-round Open A.

Vugar Rasulov won the 2nd Burhaniye-Ören International Open with 7/9, finishing half a point clear of a three-player tie for second.

Rasulov completed the nine-round Open A unbeaten with five wins and four draws. A final-round draw secured outright first place.

The Turkish Chess Federation said the tournament brought together 530 players from 13 countries across its sections, with 1.3 million Turkish lira awarded across categories.
