Russia sweeps all three formats in China–Russia Youth Friendship Match
The Russian youth team won the fast classic, rapid and blitz phases of the 10th friendship match in Harbin.
Russia completed a three-format sweep of the 10th China–Russia Youth Chess Friendship Match in Harbin. The fast classic ended 10–4, the rapid phase 17–8 and the blitz finale 28–21.
The rapid total combined a 5.5–3.5 result in the boys' section with an 11.5–4.5 result in the girls' section. All three official tables close exactly to the reported team scores.
In the seven-round blitz, FM Matfey Yurasov and Viktoria Makhina were Russia's top scorers with 5/7 each.
