Praggnanandhaa wins 2026 Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz
A final-round draw completed a 23.5-point victory, 1.5 points clear of second place.
Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu won the 2026 Saint Louis Rapid & Blitz with 23.5 points, finishing 1.5 ahead of Javokhir Sindarov.
Praggnanandhaa carried 12 rapid points into blitz, then scored 11.5/18 in the blitz section with six wins, 11 draws and one loss. A draw with Sindarov in the penultimate round protected a two-point lead, and another draw in the final round completed the title.
The first blitz-day report covered the unbeaten 6/9 start that kept him in front entering the final session.
