Raunak Sadhwani won the 2026 Scheldemond Chess Tournament in Vlissingen. The top seed finished unbeaten on 7.5/9 and was placed first in the final ranking.
Sadhwani won six games and drew three, including a Round 7 victory over Daniel Howard Fernandez. Fernandez answered with seven wins, one draw and one loss to also reach 7.5/9.
The result is a material follow-up to the tournament's earlier 6/6 lead story.
