Jihan Tejas Shah wins Budapest group and earns first IM norm

FM Jihan Tejas Shah won the First Saturday Budapest IM B group with 7/9 and earned his first IM norm.

The 2009-born player entered as the 10th seed and finished one point clear. His final tournament card records a 2467 performance and a 97.6-point rating gain.

Jihan won six games, drew two and lost one across the nine-round event.
