Elham Amar completes Norwegian classical and blitz double

Elham Amar completed a Norwegian classical-and-blitz double in Kristiansund, adding the national blitz title to his 7/9 victory in the Championship Elite.

In the blitz final, Amar and Nicolai Maxime Østensen shared first place with 4.5/5. Amar then won the deciding Armageddon game with Black.

The result also gave Amar a second consecutive Norwegian blitz title.
