Sergei Tiviakov wins 2026 Dutch Championship after blitz tiebreak
Sergei Tiviakov defeated Liam Vrolijk in a blitz tiebreak after two classical draws to win the 2026 Dutch Championship.
Sergei Tiviakov won the 2026 Dutch Championship after defeating Liam Vrolijk in the final.
The two classical games ended in draws. Tiviakov then won both blitz tiebreak games to take the national title 3-1.
The knockout championship was held from July 4 to 11 at the Renaissance Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel.
