Levon Aronian wins Biel Masters rapid with dominant 9 points

Levon Aronian won the Masters rapid section at the 59th Biel International Chess Festival with 9 points from five games.

Aronian finished three points clear of Aydin Suleymanli, who scored 6. The event awards two points for a win and one for a draw in the rapid stage.

The rapid points count toward the Masters triathlon, with classical and blitz still to come in Biel.
