Marc Barceló wins Spanish U10 Championship with perfect 9/9
The top seed won all nine games to complete a perfect national-title run in Spain’s 2026 U10 championship.
Marc Barceló won the 2026 Spanish U10 Championship with a perfect 9/9, taking victory in every round of the national event.
The Spanish Chess Federation also described Barceló as a two-time world champion, adding another major youth title to his record.
Mar Mínguez won the girls’ title and finished fourth overall while still eligible for the U8 category.
