Hou Yifan sweeps bullet in 13.5-2.5 WSCC win
A 6-0 bullet sweep completed a dominant Round of 16 victory and secured a quarterfinal place.
Hou Yifan defeated Dinara Wagner 13.5-2.5 in the Round of 16 of the Women's Speed Chess Championship 2026.
Hou Yifan won the 5+1 segment 4-1 and the 3+1 segment 3.5-1.5 before sweeping all six bullet games. The 6-0 finish expanded a six-point lead into the final 11-point margin over Dinara Wagner.
The result sends Hou Yifan into a quarterfinal against Anna Muzychuk.
