Anna Muzychuk left out of Ukraine’s 2026 Olympiad team

Ukraine has named its women’s team for the 46th Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, without Anna Muzychuk.

Her sister Mariya Muzychuk and Yuliia Osmak are also absent. The Ukrainian Chess Federation did not state a reason for Muzychuk’s omission.

Anastasiia Hnatyshyn and Anna Ushenina head the announced women’s lineup for the September 15–28 team event.
