Lena Georgescu upsets Krishnan Sasikiran at Biel Masters Open
The Swiss WGM defeated the Indian GM in round two and moved to 2/2.
Lena Georgescu defeated Krishnan Sasikiran with White in round two of the Biel Masters Open.
The 2253-rated Swiss WGM beat the 2546-rated Indian GM, a 293-point rating upset. Georgescu moved to 2/2 and is among 16 players with a perfect score after two rounds.
The 10-round open continues in Biel, Switzerland, through July 23.
