France names teams for 2026 Chess Olympiad
France has announced its Open and Women’s lineups for September’s team event in Samarkand.
France has named its Open and Women’s teams for the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
The Open lineup is Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Etienne Bacrot, Maxime Lagarde, Jules Moussard and Marc'Andria Maurizzi.
The Women’s team is Marie Sebag, Deimante Daulyte-Cornette, Sophie Milliet, Pauline Guichard and Manon Schippke. Schippke will make her Olympiad debut.
The Olympiad’s game days run from September 16 to 27.
