Evan Park beats Alice Lee in U.S. Junior Championship opener
A Black win in Round 1 created an early two-player tie at the top of the 10-player national junior round robin.
Evan Park defeated Alice Lee with Black in Round 1 of the 2026 U.S. Junior Championship.
Park is one of two players on 1/1 after the opener, while Lee begins on 0/1. Two of the round’s five games were decisive; the other three were drawn.
