Christian Gloeckler opens full-point Biel Master Open lead after Round 8
A third consecutive win created a full-point lead over a six-player chasing group with two rounds remaining.
Christian Gloeckler moved to 7/8 at the Biel Master Open by beating Qingfeng Cao in Round 8.
The result was Gloeckler’s third consecutive win. He now leads a six-player chasing group on 6/8 by a full point.
Two rounds remain. Gloeckler is paired with White against Dimitris Alexakis in Round 9.
