Evgeny Postny wins Serbia Open Rapid on Buchholz

Evgeny Postny won the Serbia Open 2026 Rapid tournament in Belgrade with 8 points from nine rounds.

Guha Mitrabha also finished on 8/9. Postny took first place with a 51.5 Buchholz score, ahead of Mitrabha's 50.

Postny won eight games and lost one. Both leaders won their final-round games, while the next four players finished half a point behind on 7.5/9.
