Toktomushev and Hryzlova win Swiss national titles
The open championship was decided in Armageddon, while the women’s event produced a second-time champion.

Teimur Toktomushev won the Swiss Individual Championship Open after a 2–1 playoff against Li Min Peng. Both finished the nine-round tournament on 7.5 points.
Toktomushev and Peng split two 10+10 rapid games before Toktomushev won the Armageddon game with Black. It is his first Swiss national title.
Sofiia Hryzlova won the parallel Swiss Individual Championship Women with 5/6. Her final-round win with Black secured her second national title after 2023.
